Do you know the name Ms. Rachel? If you don’t, I guarantee a child you know does—not only her name, but her face, her songs, and her viral YouTube show. Before she had 15 million subscribers, a Netflix special, or even a doll in her likeness, Ms. Rachel was simply someone who noticed. She noticed her son’s speech delay and that all educational shows he watched weren’t helping. So, she created something new—for him, and for other children learning to communicate in different ways.
Now, she didn’t begin with a business plan. She began with noticing. She noticed an unmet need—and responded. And this week, our sermon in the “Who’s Your Four” series considers the same question: What happens when we do or don’t notice the needs of others? It’s easy to live distracted or focused inward. But when we live like Jesus—attentive, available, compassionate—we begin to see the people others overlook. And that’s when life change begins.
We hope you’ll join us this Sunday as we continue this powerful conversation. Come ready to notice. Come ready to answer: Who’s your four? Because you never know what God might do—when we notice.
Oh and if you could use a little more cuteness in your life today, watch this little one’s response to Ms. Rachel saying Hi. I dare you not to Smile: see video here.
Keep the Faith @ First and I’ll see you Sunday,
Pastor Nicole
