Romans 15:13 "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."
Heavenly Father, Creator of the universe, Architect of all that lives, breathes, flows and grows, to you we give thanks, this beautiful day for all you've provided that we might live in the paradise of this earth. No matter where we live, we have the best of life when we live in gratitude with hope in tomorrows as well as someday in your loving arms! Our faith in you, our reason to love, and worship you, our purpose in service to others and asking when we need forgiveness--all of our Christian devotion--is due to and in honor of the hope we have in you! When life is overwhelming, how can the Power we carry with us through our days so instantly be something we completely forget? How is it that we would rather be weak than strong? Strong in humor, grace, kindness and self care. Strong in joy, prayer, forgiveness and patience. Strong in HOPE, your greatest gift ... that's what it takes and that's what you've taught us. Today Lord God of All, make us thankful, gleeful and radiant in your HOPE! Amen
