Welcome to Noblesville First Family Ministry! We are so excited to have you. We believe in being rooted in love, connecting with people, and planting seeds of hope. We create spaces where you and your families can experience worship, programming, and events in a fresh, new way. Our Family Ministry is structured so that every lesson is something that can be built upon, take root, and will last for years to come.

Noblesville First Kids welcomes kids birth-5th grade at 9:00 and 10:30 every Sunday. Parents check their kids in at the welcome desk just outside the sanctuary (Door 1). Parents can then take their kids preschool and younger to the nursery area. Kindergartners through 5th graders are invited to begin their worship time in the sanctuary with their families or utilize the Grace Space at the back of the sanctuary. This is an important and intentional new piece in children's ministry as we look to engage in intergenerational worship experiences.
After the children's message toward the beginning of the service, K-5th graders will be released to their group leaders at the entrance to the sanctuary. In their classes, the kids will learn a Bible story that goes along with a monthly theme. They'll participate in group discussions, games, and crafts with a curriculum that offers Biblically sound, relationally based, and high energy material for kids.
At the conclusion of worship in the sanctuary, parents will pick up their kids downstairs in their respective classrooms:
- Birth through preschool age in the nursery area
- Kindergarten through 2nd grade in the bi-rooms
- 3rd through 5th grade in Stephenson Hall

The kick off of Noblesville First's inaugural Arts & Music Academy for students K-5th grade begins with a camp, October 16-20 from 10AM-2:30PM each day, with a concluding performance Friday evening at 6:30PM.
Click the link below to register! The cost is $25. Scholarships are available.
Noblesville First is creating its own Arts & Music Academy to provide opportunities for the children and youth of Noblesville to grow in the arts.
"Our goal is to provide opportunities for children and youth to engage with a variety of visual and performing arts," explained Noblesville First Lead Pastor Nicole Caldwell-Gross, "so they can discover and develop their own artistic abilities while also exploring the relationships between art and faith."
The first step in building the Arts & Music Academy is to offer a theater camp for students while they are on fall break. It will be directed by Nancy Lafferty, a 40-year high school theater educator and Director for The Belfry Theatre. She will be assisted by members of our congregation who will provide visual arts instruction, the staff of Noblesville’s En Pointe Ballet who will teach dance, and students from Noblesville High School.
We hope this theater camp will be the first of many opportunities for children and youth from our church and our community to engage with the arts. Plans are underway for a year-round program of musical theater performances, including sessions in the fall, spring, and summer. We also hope to offer students the opportunity to take voice lessons and instrumental music lessons, and to be part of a choral ensemble. Stay tuned for more information on these opportunities.

When we baptize a child in the United Methodist Church, we, the congregation, also profess our faith in Christ. One of the vows we give to the newly baptized person is that we will nurture the child in Christ's holy Church, that with our teaching and example they may be guided to accept God's grace for themselves, to profess their faith openly, and to lead a Christian life.
When you choose to volunteer in Sunday School for 45 minutes on a rotating schedule one or two Sundays per month, you are taking steps to fulfill this vow.
All plans and supplies are provided and you will be paired up with at least one other adult.

Safe Sanctuaries
Protecting Our Most Precious Assets
Safe Sanctuaries is an overt expression in making congregations within the United Methodist Church safe places where children, youth, and vulnerable adults may experience the abiding love of God and fellowship within the community of faith. We're doing everything in our power to keep our most precious assets safe while they are at Noblesville First.
After viewing the video, you must complete the Safe Sanctuaries virtual quiz and then sign the Safe Sanctuaries document with the Director of Family Ministries present.
