“Trick Questions: And Jesus’ Enduring Answers” is a four-week sermon series that will run January 9-30. The Gospels present Jesus as God’s revelation in the flesh. That divine presence threatened the powers that be. In response, the religious authorities attempted to trip Jesus up with trick questions in an effort to discredit and even eliminate Jesus. He answers their questions with truths that still speak to us and remind us of the ways we avoid the divine presence in our lives.
