Meet the Circles
The following Circles meet for study, prayer, fellowship, projects and fun. New members of all ages are always welcome!
Grace Circle
This circle meets the second Tuesday of the month (August-May) at 11am in the church parlor and combines mission work with a supportive fellowship. Their focus is service including College Care and Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home. They chair the Lenten Breakfast. Next meeting: We will be hosting the Lenten Breakfast on Wednesday, February 18 at 9:30am in Celebration Hall. Our speaker is Jodie Little, the Executive Director of Lucille Raines. The March meeting is on Tuesday the 10th at 11am in the church parlor. We will be organizing & stuffing Easter baskets for the Indiana Children's Home in Lebanon.
Updates: In December we met for breakfast at Ginger's and then went to the church to load up the Christmas Gifts donated to the Angel tree into Cathie Mill's vehicle which she then delivered to the Indiana Children's Home in Lebanon.
Lydia Circle
This circle meets the 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm in the church library, They focus on hosting the "Steppin' Up to Help" line dancing fundraisers, volunteering at the Fishers Food Pantry, working at Teter Retreat & Organic Farm, making cards for the Caring Connections, hosting a meal for Dinners on Us and ringing the bell for Salvation Army at Christmas time, as well as other activities. Next meeting: Join us for our annual "Steppin' Up to Help" fundraiser for Cherish. This is line dancing with a LOT of fun on Tuesday, February 24 from 6:30-8pm in Celebration Hall. In March we will be visiting the Lucille Raines Residence for the Talk & Tour on Tuesday, March 17.
Updates: In December we rang the bell for the Salvation Army basket at the local Hobby Lobby.
Priscilla Circle
This circle meets the 3rd Monday of the month at 6:30pm in the church parlor and focuses on the Bags, Baskets and Blessings event each November. They sort, pack and deliver supplies for babies to organizations in Hamilton County that serve families in need. Luncheons and field trips provide additional opportunities for fellowship. Next meeting: Our February meeting will be Monday February 16 at 6:30pm with the program presented by Phyllis Hunter from the UWF Program Book. The March program will be open to ALL circle members as our own Pastor Amber will be presenting the program on Climate Justice. This meeting will be on Monday, March 17 at 6:30pm in the parlor.
Updates: In December we had our pitch-in with an ornament exchange, lots of fun had by all.
Rebekah Circle
This circle meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 9:30am in the church parlor and focuses on Christian fellowship, service and learning. Field trips to faith related attractions and service events such as the Rummage Sale and the Christmas Tea are highlights of the year. Next meeting: For our February meeting we are encouraging you to attend the Lenten Breakfast on the February 18 at 9:30am. On Wednesday, March 18 we will meet at 10am out at Teter Organic Farm to work in the Hoop Houses and will be taking candy to the Sheriff's Office for our Community Service Project.
Updates: In December we hosted the Christmas Tea and held our own circle Christmas party with an auction. Always lots of fun.
