Everyone is invited to donate supplies needed for Mission Kits distributed by the United Methodist Midwest Mission Distribution Center in Illinois.
Then on Sunday, September 15 from 1-4PM, singles, youth, families and children 3rd grade and older are invited for a Packing Party in Wesley Hall (Door 7) to pack the kits for missions around the world. Contact Mary Burns if you need a sitter for younger children at 317-752-6559.
Each kit includes:
- 1 hand towels (not kitchen towels)
- 1 washcloths (not dishcloths)
- 1 adult toothbrush (not multi-packs)
- 1 bar of soap (3-4 oz)
- 1 shampoo (12-19 oz)
- 1 deodorant (2-3 oz stick, roll-on or pump)
- 1 lotion (8-10 oz)
Donate the items, through September 10, for a full kit(s) or donate individual items or cash.

The Take-A-Meal Ministry has been overwhelmed with meal requests and needs your help! Can you provide a meal occasionally to those who are in need of assistance due to difficult life situations?
Team members receive the meal requests with dates and detailed information about the need. There's no obligation. If you are able to help, you have an option to sign up for the date that is convenient for you. You’ll be provided with the individual or family’s likes, dislikes, food allergies and details about meal delivery.

Do you like to sew and create?
The Prayer Quilt Ministry is looking for volunteers to make quilts for adults, youth and infants. All materials except for thread will be provided. Sew on your own at home or together at church each month with other creative minds.
Basic sewing skills and a joyful spirit are all that is needed!

Children’s Sunday School Teacher (K-5th Grade)
- As the Small Group Leader, you will guide your class through the week’s prepared lesson plan and activity
Nursery Assistant (Infant-Preschool)
- Greet parents and children and help with sign-in Make children feel welcome and engage them in an activity
Acolyte
- Children/Youth in 3rd-8th Grade will light/extinguish candles at beginning/end of worship
Vacation Bible School
- Lead a small group or host an activity station during VBS
Youth Group Volunteer
- Help with youth events, be a confirmation mentor, and/or lead small group on Wednesdays

Chancel Choir
- Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 PM in the Choir Room Chancel Choir sings in the 9:00 and 10:30 AM services on Sundays
Handbells
- Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 6:15 to 7:15 PM in the Choir Room
- Chancel Ringers play in the 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM Sunday services once a month
Children’s Choir
- Assist a staff member who works with children on Sunday mornings
- For K-5th Graders interested in singing, we practice weekly during Sunday School time
- We plan to have the Children's Choir sing in our worship services once a month

The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) Early Response Teams (ERTs) seek to alleviate suffering caused by disasters that strike within the United States and its territories. Key activities for the Indiana teams include putting tarps on damaged roofs, mucking out flooded homes and buildings, and removing damaged dry wall. Military Outreach
We currently have several friends and family members of Noblesville First enlisted in the military. Together we can support them with our prayers, and by regularly sending them encouraging cards and notes. The Military Wall (located outside the Sanctuary) lists the names of those serving and the location to send cards. Please take a few moments to stop by the Military Wall and remember those who are proudly serving our nation. Prevail of Hamilton County serves as an advocate for victims of crime and abuse in Hamilton and surrounding counties. They are committed to offering their services, free of charge, in a confidential, supportive, non-judgmental environment that is meant to empower, educate and strengthen those they serve. Noblesville First serves Prevail through the "Clothesline Ministry." When Prevail clients are in need of clothing and household items, those written needs are placed on a miniature clothesline outside the Sanctuary and Celebration Hall.
