Please reach out to Ally at if you have any questions or are interested in serving!

Noblesville First Youth Group will be attending the Momentum Youth Conference at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana, July 19-24. This conference is filled with serve opportunities, daily devotionals & messages, and a ton of exciting games, crafts, and activities!

Our Youth Group will be stationed in our own set of dorms along with Noblesville First volunteers and youth leadership. All programming, lunch, and dinner is included in the cost of the registration. I plan to bring a ton of simple breakfast food, beverages, and snacks for everyone, but be sure that your student brings whatever specific snacks and breakfast items they may want to have handy.

Information on registration directly from the Momentum Conference organizers is below:

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS

Registration for Momentum Youth Conference is now open! The link to register can be found at buildmomentum.org. Please note that a parent/guardian needs to set up the initial registration account and then students can be added. If you receive an error message that says this person does not meet age requirements for this event, it most likely is because the account was made in the student’s name, or you selected the wrong registration option. All required documents and forms will be completed and signed through the registration system. You will be asked to select our church from a dropdown menu. They are listed alphabetically by church name with city and state included.

The cost is $510 through April 30 and then increases, however there is an early-registration discount that reduces this cost to $485 for any student registered by April 15th. In addition to the early-registration discount, Noblesville First is receiving a $25 discount on every registrant due to our church being a first time attendee. The code for this additional $25 discount Noblesville2022. This code must be entered at the time a student registers and before they checkout. You can enter this code on the registration page at the section titled “Add a gift certificate or promotional code.” The deposit required at time of registration is $75 & the remaining balance can be paid out periodically until July 15. More information is available on the registration page.

Please don’t allow cost to be a barrier. As the weather warms up our Youth Group will have serve opportunities available for the students to earn money towards this retreat and other Youth Group events. If there are any concerns, or if pricing might be a barrier to attending the retreat, then please reach out to me directly and we will get it figured out! It’s going to be an awesome retreat & I want all of the youth to have the opportunity to experience this time of fun & fellowship together.

If you have any registration questions or concerns, contact the Momentum Registrar directly at .

Volunteers

As our weekly Youth Group gatherings get into full-swing so does our need for more adult volunteers. Currently, we’re looking for adults who can help serve our youths 1-2 Sunday evenings per month from 6-8PM by helping with snacks and general setup. If you have any interest in volunteering, please reach out to David McKenzie. A special thank you to the amazing group of volunteers who make up our Student Ministry Advisory Council and have worked so hard to make the Youth Group re-launch such a success 🙂

Safe Sanctuaries video training
Safe Sanctuaries is an overt expression in making congregations within the United Methodist Church safe places where children, youth, and vulnerable adults may experience the abiding love of God and fellowship within the community of faith. We're doing everything in our power to keep our most precious assets safe while they are at Noblesville First. After viewing the video, you must complete the Safe Sanctuaries virtual quiz and then sign the Safe Sanctuaries document with the Director of Family Ministries present.
