Here are some ways you can connect with Noblesville First this week
After School All-Stars
The After School All-Stars mentoring program gives White River Elementary students the opportunity to engage in fun after-school activities with positive role models. The club will meet after school on Wednesdays for one hour. Volunteers are encouraged to attend at least five of the 10 sessions.
Youngish Adults Lunch
Pastor Jill Moffett and Amber Good would like to invite "youngish adults" to a monthly gathering starting on November 7 in Wesley Hall (off the south end of Celebration Hall & just inside Door 7) following the 11:00 contemporary worship. Lunch will be provided, and a chance for connection and fellowship. They would like to hear from you what your hopes are for future opportunities like this one.
Mark your calendar and sign up to VOLUNTEER!
Bring the whole family for Noblesville First's Fall Fest at Teter Retreat & Farm, 10980 E. 221st Street, Noblesville. Fall Fest will take place on October 30 from 2-5PM. Entry is FREE to enjoy games, snacks, crafts, live music and lightly haunted hayrides.
Confirmation Call Out Meeting
Confirmation is a time to connect, learn and grow in your faith. Students 6th grade or older (and their parents) who are interested in Confirmation are invited for a call out meeting.
Dinners On Us items needed
In-person Dinner's on Us weekly service is still on hold but weekly food pick up is available and donations are needed including: cereal, mac and cheese, pasta, pasta sauce, meal kits like Hamburger Helper, peanut butter, and gallon storage bags.
Invasive Species Volunteer Day
Help is needed in removing invasive species plants from the wooded areas at Teter Retreat. Training and equipment are provided.
Faith Moves exercise class
Faith Moves is a Christ-centered fitness program which offers participants an opportunity to become more fit using stretching, relaxing, and restorative fitness movements and poses -- all taught by certified instructor Sharon McMahon. While there may be some similarities to yoga poses, this is not a yoga class.
Monday Morning Study Group
Monday Morning Bible Study meets 9:30-11:15AM in the church parlor (Door 1). The group is studying God's Story by Anne Graham Lotz (ISBN 979-8499-2092-9). If you are a beginner in scripture or have studied before, everyone is welcome to join these conversations each week. Each person is responsible to order their own book.
First & Third Monday Study
The First & Third Monday Study is exploring the pages of Journeys with the Messiah by Michael Belk. As a famous fashion photographer, Michael Belk struggled with wondering about what the meaning of his life was for God. God pointed him into using his unique story-telling skills, to embark on an inspiring journey---with his camera and creativity---to explore the modern-day relevance of the centuries-old messages of Jesus.
Elderberries Bible Study
The Elderberries Bible Study group meets at 10AM every Thursday in the church parlor (Door 1) for study, fellowship and laughter. Come join us! The group, comprised of both men and women, is currently studying the first chapters of the book, What's the Least I Can Believe and Still Be a Christian? by Martin Thielen (available in the church office).
Coffee & Life Study
The Coffee & Life adult Sunday School class will begin a series entitled "The Religion of Abraham Lincoln" on Sunday, October 31 through Sunday, December 19 at 9:30 am in The Loft (across the hall from the south balcony in Celebration Hall). All are invited!
