It is a joy to return to worship at the church and in the Sanctuary (Door 1). Several safety protocols are in place to ensure safety for all. Attendance is limited to 75 persons in each service at 8:30 and 11am. Click the links at NoblesvilleFirst.com by noon on Friday to save a seat but please know you will need confirmation from our office before you know if your spot has been reserved. Overflow seating will be available in Whitcomb Chapel where the livestream will be shown.
Ushers will help you find a socially distanced seat when you enter and we will release the back rows first at the close of worship. We will require masks to be worn at all times and ask that all conversations be held outside to avoid congregating where the chance of transmission increases.
The 8:30 service will be livestreamed on Facebook and recorded and then made immediately available for viewing on Facebook any time after that. We are still debating whether we should livestream the 11:00 worship or just hold a Facebook Watch Party at that time.
Pastor Jerry Rairdon and Dr. Jeff Wright, the Traditional Music Director, spent considerable time in the Sanctuary blocking where the choir ensembles can be placed in a socially distanced way. Jeff has discovered specially designed singing masks which we will utilize to employ eight-person choir ensembles to lead the music at these two traditional worship experiences.
The Family Ministry Team is aiming for November 1 as the potential launch of a Family Worship experience in Celebration Hall to be held between the two traditional services. Those attending this experience would bring their own lawn chairs and/or blankets and worship together as a family separated from other families. The experience would be designed with children in mind and probably last around 30 minutes. We will share more details after Ally Hall, the new Associate Director of Family Ministries is hired and can be involved in the planning.
Childcare will be offered as follows:
October 18 & 25
8:30am - ages four and under
11am - ages two and under. Children ages 3 and above are invited to join "Exit 11" children's ministry with Ally Hall, the new Associate Director of Family Ministries.
8:30am - to be determined, based on need
9:45am - ages two and under
11am - open ages two and under. Children ages 3 and above are invited to join "Exit 11" children's ministry with Ally Hall, the new Associate Director of Family Ministries.
