May 16-23
May 16 and 23 are both travel days. Plan to arrive in Orlando anytime on the 16th and leave anytime on the 23rd.
TRIP COST: $325+transportation
Summer will be here before you know it! That means it's time to sign up for our Alternative Summer Break to Kissimmee, FL to serve at Give Kids the World Village. This trip is limited by the size of group that is permitted by Give Kids The World (16 students and 4 adults). Spots will be filled in the order they are submitted. Priority goes to students/alum of Noblesville First UMC and trip veterans, but we would LOVE to welcome new friends as space allows. We fill up our trips on a first come first served basis, so make sure you sign up quick!
The $325 covers lodging at Terre Verde Resorts for a week, food, and two rental vehicles while in Orlando. This trip does not reflect the cost of a theme park ticket, though you will have the option of adding that onto your trip. Please bring money for food/souvenirs as well.
You are responsible for getting to Orlando and back to your home. Tom and Jenell will serve as a shuttle to the Orlando airport as needed.
We want to make this trip as fun and affordable as possible and booking airfare on your own is the most cost effective way to do it. We've had people express interest in using frequent flyer miles. You can get to Orlando any way you want (Southwest, Allegiant, AA, Greyhound Bus, Drive, etc.) but make sure to coordinate travel plans with Tom at tshriver@noblesvillefirst.com!
Also, please DO NOT BOOK TRAVEL until your spot has been confirmed!
