Everyone is invited for a NEW weekly Monday Evening Bible Study in the church parlor (Door 1) from 6:30-8:15PM.
We will delve into the Book of Ephesians and discover Paul’s warnings and message to the City of Ephesus which still is important to us today. The Life Lessons with Max Lucado series – Ephesians brings the Bible to life in twelve lessons filled with intriguing questions, inspirational stories, and poignant reflections to take you deeper into God's Word.
“In Ephesians, Paul reminds us that Jesus is also longing for the day he will be united with the church—his bride in all her beauty. Paul's letter celebrates the beauty of the church and gives us wonderful examples and overviews of a Christian life. Paul shows us how to walk worthy of Christ as we live our life for God. His focus on the beauty of the church reminds us that through salvation we become a part of God's family: a place where we can experience true belonging."
As you read, study, journal, and discuss the book of Ephesians, watch for these key themes that Max will unpack throughout the book:
- We have many spiritual blessings through Christ.
- Each believer is gifted through the Spirit of God.
- Our faith should work its way into all of our relationships.
- Our spiritual strength comes from God through his Word and our faith.”
Books are available in the church office for $10 each.
To register for the class, contact Carol Miller cmiller@noblesvillefirst.com.

The First and Third Monday Study meets at 7-8:30PM in the church parlor (Door 1). Come and explore the pages of Journeys with the Messiah by Michael Belk. As a famous fashion photographer, Michael Belk struggled with wondering about what the meaning of his life was for God. God pointed him into using his unique story---telling skills, to embark on an inspiring journey---with his camera and creativity-to explore the modern-day relevance of the centuries-old messages of Jesus. The result is a magnificently beautiful and thought, provoking collection of compelling and sometimes controversial photos depicting Christ’s message to all of us.
Each week we'll explore a different photo from the book and you are invited to join us as your schedule allows. Photos and study sheets will be made available to class participants each week. Books are available online, but only through used book sources. If you wish to order a copy of Journey with the Messiah, which is a very special book to have in your library, order ISBN: 9780615496658 (dark brown cover). Note: there is also a coffee table book available at a higher cost.
The video below chronicles of Michael Belk’s story. It contains great background information and details on how he was inspired by God to produce this book.
