DEEPEN THE POWER OF THE WEEK'S SERMON WITH THIS DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE
We invite you to read the full Sermon on the Mount each week during our summer worship series which is found in chapters 5-7 of the Gospel of Matthew.
Pray for Vacation Bible School this week at Noblesville First
Reflect on these scriptures how to share our faith with the world
Genesis 12:1-3 (Israel blessed to be a blessing to all)
Isaiah 49:5-6 (a light of salvation will reach the ends of the earth)
John 8:12 (I am the light of the world)
John 13:34-35 (this is how everyone will know)
John 17:14-19 (not of, but sent into the world)
1 Peter 2:11-12 (live honorably among unbelievers)
If you are a follower of Jesus, he declares you to be salt and light. In your experience, are Christians so separate from the world that they can’t make any difference in the world?
Or have Christians become so much like the world that they’re not different enough to make an impact on the world?
What does it really mean to be a city set on the hill or to be salt that changes the nature of the world?
Salt and light penetrate their surroundings. Do you believe you are salt and light and making a difference in the world?
Wherever you spend your time, how can you take the role of servant in that place?
How do you feel about wearing a cross to declare your allegiance to Christ?
